"Nocton Hall was home to 1300 U.S staff and
35 Casualties from World War 2 it however sadly burnt down in 1841.
11 lives were lost within the burning
rubble of the hall.
It was rumoured that Cpt. Thomas Johnson
luckily escaped the fire, having to leave his only child, Benjamin Johnson.
The body was never found...
To this day locals report music being
played from the building, even though the remains of the building has been abandoned
for 178 years.
